Hello and Welcome to Siren Soapbox. Since January, the Siren’s have explored the idea of manifestation. It started with our very heated conversation of “The Secret”, then “Manifestation Babe”, “Begin with Yes”, and later this year we will be discussing “The Artist Way”. Today we are focusing on a program called “Optimal Self”. Douglas Hensley grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio listening to his dad tell legends and stories about ghosts and hauntings in the hills of Kentucky. From listening to stories of the paranormal Doug began writing his own fictional horror stories and screenplays. His first screenplay was made into a movie, BLOOD REAPER. Mr. Hensley has written other books such as: "Cicada", "The Unholy Convent", "Aswang, The Demon Wolf" and "Bloody Bones". Laura Roland from Gatekeeper Paranormal - the official paranormal team of Bobby Mackey’s Music World. Gatekeeper Paranormal is a Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky based paranormal investigative group. They have many years of combined experience and varying degrees of skepticism and belief in the paranormal.  They also provide paranormal investigation services free of charge to anyone who feels they are experiencing unexplained activity in their home or business. The media loves a good scary shark story to incite fear in the public. Sharks have long been feared as a mindless man eating machines. As divers, the sirens know that when you are in the water, you are entering the shark's realm. While swimming with them, it is hard not to be in awe of these magnificent creatures. Even more important is that without sharks, we are ALL in serious trouble. Since it is Shark Week on Discovery Channel this week we are going to soapbox about it!
